42/365: Last Steps
So, today Iain and I took a walk into town to head down to White Horse Close, which is a picturesque little close off the Royal Mile that has been described as "so blatantly fake that it can be acquitted of any intention to deceive" due to its heavy restoration in the 60s to make it look traditionally Scottish, with crow-stepped gables and steps leading up to the houses. Therefore I thought it would be a perfect place to go for this week's blip challenge of 'Step'.
I did get some pictures of the Close that I liked, but for some reason I was more drawn to these tired looking shoes with dried-up looking plants growing out of them, which have certainly taken their last steps. These were sitting on the windowsill of one of the houses in the Close.
