A flash of red

I loved the contrast of the beautiful red dogwood with the surrounding countryside.
This was taken on a walk in sunshine and (mostly) showers. The showers were more like mini storms where it was hard to keep hold of the umbrella (Mary Poppins came to mind) and I discovered that my waterproof boots were not waterproof (should have stuck to the wellies).
