An Early Post

Went up on to the Wolds to try for a landscape or skyscape. The light was quite flat the wind was still howling and the clouds were not playing ball. I have seen the above gate posts before, but to day stopped and photo'd three pairs, all have words on them . I have tried to find out what they are about but to no avail so far. If you go large you may be able read several of them. Have even tried Googling each word separately but no pattern emerged .
