Ploughing

We went for a walk in the Sanquhar Woods in Forres again today. After the discovery of the mandarin duck on Thursday we were not expecting to be surprised again so soon. However we came across this man ploughing with his two Clydesdale horses. We met the horses several weeks back being admired and fed carrots by some small children. I decided to give the shot a bit of treatment to match the era in which this traditional method of ploughing was more common. We continued our walk and it was nice to meet the man on his way home having finished his work for the day and to have a chat with him about his methods. We were also able to supply him with some of the photographs we had taken. I love this song
