Cairngorms

What a fab day. We went for one of our favourite walks to the Green Lochan. It is hard to believe that as we looked across to the Cairngorms lit in brilliant sunshine there was not a breath of wind (you can see another couple seated to the left of the picture soaking up the sunshine) but the skiing had yet again been put on hold because of storm force winds (apparently they did get some limited skiing late in the afternoon). It was difficult to choose between this picture overlooking the Caledonian Pine Forest or one with Loch Morlich in the foreground.
