Build your pebble on sand

This proud pebble on a pedestal was precariously balanced after todays wind had eroded the rest of the sand away.

I had to be quick to get this. I had to lie down in the sand to get a suitable viewpoint. Seeing me prone on the sand, the dog thought something was wrong (or more likely I was going to play) came hounding across the sand to me. Click, spray of sand from the dogs paws, lens now gritty, stone dislodged, wet nose in my ear. Anyway I got my shot.
