Messing about on the river

Not quite in the way Ratty and Moley did - I think their boating was rather more sedate, as mine would be!

We were having a stroll after taking morning coffee in the sunny conservatory at Gliffaes Country House Hotel when we spotted these kayakers (thanks to serpentine for clarification) on the Usk.

I've just noticed that there's a bird watching them too.

Eggy spent the morning in the garden and, after a bite of lunch, has gone out again.

I have to get down to some writing.

Funnily enough, I blipped the Usk this time last year too.
