Bumps in the Road

Laughing boy

The wee man took great delight at pushing his foot up on top of his high chair at breakfast this morning. He really is developing a good sense of humour, and he's even perfecting his fake laugh, for when the situation calls.

We popped over to North Berwick again today, for a quick shot of Steampunk coffee, and while we were there he insisted on getting a cuddle from everyone in the shop. He'll pretty much reach out to anyone these days - although he definitely shows a preference for the ladies.

He's also started to query his surroundings but instead of pointing, he thrusts his palm out, shouting 'that' (which sometimes makes it hard to work out what he's looking at if there's lots of stuff around).

He's also learning how to deal with us when we say 'no' to things. He simply smiles back, shakes his head and repeats 'no no no no no' all while continuing to do what he's not supposed to. Unfortunately I think I taught him that one.
