For Time to Move Slowly
I have just spent the best part of three days in this room at the Police Station assisting a client.
I have been using this room ever since it was built in about 1985. After a couple of years the clock that you see stopped running and it has never run again.
So during my three day sojourn in this room I had plenty of time to consider the stoppage of clocks.
My mind turned to all those clocks that stopped at 8.15 on 6th August 1945 when the first atomic bomb exploded above Hiroshima.
This clock stopped at eleven minutes to two.
Perhaps the most remarkable thing is that some time in the past someone has gone to a great deal of trouble to paint the blue wall around it.
