Lyne Kirk
Out on my Sunday morning bike ride I pass through Lyne, a loose collection of houses on the quiet A72. The kirk is an ancient and historic kirk in the Church of Scotland. It was founded in the 12th Century, and extensively rebuilt in 1644 and restored again 1889. The kirk houses a 17th century font. The kirkyard is home, and I am obviously going to have to visit the kirk now, to the beautiful 1712"Adam and Eve" gravestone.
