Whinging, as another hot day looms...

Only four hours of (rotten) sleep last night in the heat.
Our evaporative cooler is industrial-sized, but certainly far from industrial strength.
Woke early this morning rather cranky, moving house on my mind.
Somewhat impractical at this stage.
Went out for a walk in the botanic gardens, sat in the shade, ate a lemon slice and read my book until the grumpiness settled.
Now, J's suggestion of a portable air conditioner seems an excellent one.
Off to do some research.

Oh, and last night we finally started planning our wedding.
Since it's been well over a year since we got engaged, I felt I should mark the occasion!
