The Calm Before the Storm

MOH and I had a great day with Ruaridh. He was on fine form, ate everything he was given, slept when he was meant to and giggled his way through the day. In the morning he realised he could stand on his own and by the time mummy and daddy returned from work in the evening there was no stopping him. Every episode of standing ended with him bumping onto the floor full of giggles. He was so happy to be the centre of attention and seemed to realise that he had achieved something great (probably due to the fact that we were all whooping and shouting each time he did it! - natural behaviour for parents and grandparents I imagine).

Unforunately not long after this pic was taken he succumbed to a nasty virus and was up during the night being sick. Unfortunately it has continued through yesterday and into today (Sunday) and he's on a liquid only diet. Fingers crossed he gets better soon and we don't all go down with 'it'
