Deer stalking again!

Quite a murky start to today's walk but we set off in hope of seeing deer again.

This was the best shot I have had so far but still a bit hazy. (See large) Apart from this group there was a small herd in one of the fields and then, much closer, we saw them running across the path in the woods in twos plus another two groups of four running in the lower woods. All moving too quickly to allow for photographs.

Lovely to see them even though the walk was quite wet and muddy. The worst part of this walk are the 'killer' steps at the end on our return to the St Ives woods!
