Maid in Wales

Up the Junction.

Went to the doc's for the blood test. The nurse called me in and said the words i really didn't want to hear. They were, have you got a slip? Told her the saga all over again and she actually agreed to do the blood test. Do they really think i would volunteer if i didn't have to? Anyway job done, results on Friday. I came home and had something to eat and drink and then went to the gym. My headphones make such a difference. Listening to music made the time go so much faster and i actually did a longer workout than usual as it seemed less effort.
Weather was back to the usual today so J said, why not blip the railway to show how much progress has been made. To all of you who might be interested, the engine is a Pannier tank locomotive o-6-o and it's pulling mixed truck freight. The wagon directly behind has the markings of, The Great Western Railway Mens Coal Association, Tondu. This has great significance to me, as i lived with my Nan and Grampa in Tondu when i was a child. Their house backed on to the railway line and the drivers of the train used to wave to me. It was a main line, and i could see the track from the bedroom. The layout is going to be based in the early fifties . J made the coal for the wagon .
