Calton Hill

We are reluctantly on our way home from a fantastic time in Edinburgh.

Today we enjoyed a hearty Scottish breakfast before wandering up Calton Hill. We had intended to do Arthur's Seat but the weather wasn't great and we didn't really have the inclination!

The views from Calton Hill were spectacular; even on a dull, grey day like today. What I loved were the different aspects of the city from the different view points. I took lots of photos, but I chose this one a you can see the city, the sea and even if you look really close the Forth Bridge (top left hand corner).

Edinburgh has become my favourite city, and we are planning a return already!
