SUPER LEAGUE STARTS

NEW STADIUM . . . This is the new KC Lightstream Stadium – home of rugby superleague side Hull Kingston Rovers. It used to be called Craven Park but many changes have been made over the last 12 months.

Their first match of the new season, against Yorkshire rivals Leeds, drew their highest crowd for 25 years at 11,526.

At half-time the score was 6-6 – by the final whistle Leeds had won 34-6. Not quite the start the locals wanted – the Boro effect strikes again !

Hope you all have a grand week ahead.
