Lingness

Been a lovely day. Some great sunny spells, no wind and dry. A frosty morning and will be frosty again tonight.

I've had a day off today and the fine weather has made it :) A few things to sort in Lerwick in the morning, lunch with a friend and then off for a run in the car and walkies with Sammy dog.
Off for a cuppa with mam and nieces this evening :)

One of Sammy's walkies took us to Lingness, Nesting. A lovely walk along and old track, plenty of rabbits for Sammy to sniff out, Shetland cows and ponies along the way too. The old croft house at the end of the track sits very close to the edge of the sea, as you can see. A bit too close for me but it's stood here 100 years plus, so must be fairly safe :) The cats were very friendly until Sammy woofed. A lonely house but think it's just a weekend/summer house :)
