A fine mess....

I've been in a right fine mess today.
For mess read busy day.
For fine read brilliant.

I was up early to drive the the Lake District to measure a 10km race.

A beautiful course the includes running through the grounds of a top hotel.

Afterwards the organiser invited me to use the spa facilities. Well it would have been rude not to!

Then on through The Lakes to the second 10km measurement of the day.

I forgot to mention the weather was wet (but that's hardly a surprise!)

A quick change at home then off to the Lancashire County Cup Semi Final.
My ticket included a meal before that was most enjoyable.
We won the match but were very fortunate to do so. We will take it though.
