Eclectic

Miss pink decided on pink sparkly tights AND knee high welly socks to accessorise her jumper dress outfit today. And she thought she looked fab, so I do too. I hope she continues this joy in creating her own style.

We had the morning at home doing very little, I unpacked with "help" from miss Pink, some of her treasures from her bedroom. The problem is finding new homes for everything in her updated room.

Mr Pink went to work after lunch, so we made the most of the sun being out and headed to the zoo. I think most of Essex had the same idea. The mini pinks have been coming to the zoo since they were babies, and now have a special route we have to do. On a good day we will see most of the zoo, today however we didn't get far. We watched the penguins for a while, and we made up a little story about the penguins. The penguins were looking for the keeper who had just removed a bowl of fish from the enclosure; the story involved the penguins chatting to each other about the missing fish.
So, the zoo trip went like this; sunbears, "magic doors", "secret door", cobra, iguanas, grumpy fish, penguins, sealions, orangutan, tarantula, "can we go to the park now?", chimpanzees, and home time. We weren't there for more than two hours. But that's why we have a gold card!!!
