The fog rolls in
Presidents' day. Old job = probably a day off, new job = working flat out at home in the office. Still, I got a ton of stuff done. Even managed to make it out for a dodgy car park meeting to get pipette tip samples. On the way back I got the car cleaned too. Leaving La Jolla we were in the thick of the fog and driving east into the bright sunshine you could see the sea fog on the horizon like a huge Tsunami rolling in. Walking babe this afternoon the fog was dissipating over head in the sunshine.
Also made it for a long overdue gym session this afternoon. Finished up the working day by having a phone conversation with my area manager. She wanted to see how I was doing first week back from training. She said she had good feedback from the people I had worked with so that's good. Her ulterior motive was to assign me "chemical" and "iPhone" champion for our team. The former as its something I need to learn more about for my sales targets this quarter and anything I do find I should share with the team. The latter as I'm in a team full of fuddy-duddies (all Blackberry users) and now we have corporate iPhones no one knows how to use them!
Set the dog up with a new walker for when the wife is away on business in future weeks. We usually use the neighbour but they are not always around so good to have a back up. Met Mike in the park a few times on our nighttime walks with his dog + any he is looking after. He already had the job in my opinion, but the wife had to ok it aswell seeing as he will be looking after her "baby".......
