Day 3

The Boy had an overnight shift last night so The Parents and I got an early start on finishing the decorating whilst he caught up on some sleep. It was then off to IKEA to select bookcases and various other essentials before putting Mum on a train back home to take care of the cats and granny. Dad, The Boy and I went off to B&Q for the guest room paint and then spent the evening building bookcases.

You saw this table yesterday. This evening we were the height of class, champagne and bacon and egg sandwiches! Thankfully I'd had chance to nip back to the old flat to collect glasses so we weren't drinking it out of mugs.
