Working and watching "Poseidon"

Trying to catch up on some chores on the computer and half an eye on the TV watching "Poseidon" the remake not the original. I remember watching "The Poseidon Adventure" (the original version) at college at a film night (an 8mm version that the film club had hired, that really shows my age!) I bit down all my nails on both hands but nowadays it looks really hammy, even the modern version is hammy and I can just hear my daughter, who is a Deck Officer on cruise ships, saying 'well that wouldn't work! ' to everything.
