Emptying the pool

We had tanker lorries in the compound last night and again this morning. I thought there was something wrong with the mains water maybe, but realised this morning that they were emptying the pool. When I got back from taking my husband for his lift to work at 6.30 this tanker was trying to get in the gate and making a hash of it, as both the road and the opening are quite narrow. So after a few minutes with him still not managing to get in, the guard told him to back out so I could drive in. They then got the villa opposite to open their gates to give the driver more room behind. However there was already one tanker inside by the pool and he seemed to have managed ok.

There were another two tankers there this evening. So it seems like it is a long job. I meant to go down and see if they had refilled it or were still emptying. I never realised how much water the pool held.
