New Toy

No, not the building.

I decided to upgrade my 'compact' camera, so I bought myself a battered old Sony NEX-5 in Nottingham today. It would be compact if it weren't for the lens that came with it. Still it does just fit in my jacket pocket - unlike the DSLR!

This is a picture of our local secondary school. I took another picture near to here, but it is too sad to blip - they've cut down some great old trees to make room for a new housing development. I can't deny people a place to live but it was not a good thing to see.

I've downloaded the camera manuals, so now I'll be spending some time finding out how to use the new toy...
