Community Garden
Where we live is more a collection of houses than a village in the proper sense. Four miles away is the "main" village, where there are three small family run shops selling everyday essentials, a post office, craft shop, primary school, doctor's surgery, churches, pubs, sheltered housing complex and community centre. There is also the Community Garden, which is a wonderful little haven, very sheltered, with everything from huge old sycamore trees to secluded sitting areas in it.
I went along to the knitting group at the community centre this afternoon and popped into the garden to see how the snowdrops were doing. Decided I liked this shot of the sitting area . . . . and you can just see the ferry in the back ground.
Will start commenting again soon - really, I will . . . !
