London Calling

A very early 4.30 alarm clock this morning, as we had a hire car and a motorway to tackle to get into the smoke and still have the majority of the day to enjoy, all before dinner.

We checked in at our apt in Bethnal green, before getting the tube to Borough Market for some street food dinner. We ticked a few tourist boxes off by walking from Piccadilly Circus to Hamleys were the kids then spent about 2hrs enjoying the surroundings and spending their Christmas gift vouchers. A stop off for a meander and a well needed pint in Covent Gdns followed by a trip to Rainbow Café for some tea.

It's been a very long, tiring but very fun family day in London. The kids have asked me if they can stay forever. I wish we could...
