Bright Eyes

I am not! I have lots of issues with my eyes and despite following the suggested daily maintenance routine (some of the time), they are generally, red, sore, puffy etc. I had 2 SPs for this composite and in the other, which was shot high key, the area around my left eye looked yellow and bruised. Not very attractive, so I used this one which is front on and also went B&W to mask the issue :-)

Technique challenge - Creative SP and DDW's alphabet challenge S - is for Self Portrait. Yes I know this technique is from week 4 and we are only in week 3 but there is no way I'm getting out today or even tomorrow to do slow shutter speed or street, so I'm going to have to swap things around a bit. As the song says 'it's my party and I'll cry cheat if I want to'.

Only one more day of feeding Jack. I'm tempted to make a dish with venison meatballs. I won't of course tell him its venison until after he has eaten it. Would that be too cruel do you think?
