Chilling out

She's had a fabulous day today. Started with pyjamas day at nursery. She discovered to her absolute delight "look you CAN ride a bike in slippers and a onesie mummy". (Fully soled slippers, a fleece onesie and a coat I might add!) She was only at nursery til late morning, I had a house inspection.

I went back to get her in time to get changed and finish a card before the afternoons festivities. We were heading out with her friend from ballet for her 4th birthday- skating! It's been soooo long since she was on the ice. But she slid round on various toys, decided that the ice was fun and declared next time she will wear proper ice skaters! The girls had to be dragged from the ice. We headed for the Pizza Hut for tea. A fabulous time had by all. Free cake. Free ice creams. Unlimited pizza. Goooooood!! Katie fought to stay awake the whole journey home to keep chatting with her friend. Happy times!!

In other news, her ballet school principal today suggested Katie be entered for her first festival this coming autumn. I am very proud indeed. Her school don't usually enter the younger classes!
