New Onesies!

Oscar and Bailee took forever to get to sleep last night.... they were so excited Uncle Rock and Aunty Becky would be there in the morning.They came to go to the Rolling Stones concert with Stu in Abu Dhabi. Can you imagine the delight we heard from the bedroom as they were presented with these onesies? Oscar loves Jake the Pirate and Bailee My Little Ponies too. Cuteness!

We went to Dubai Mall this morning as Stu and Andy needed new suits. The mission was achieved in good time and we decided to try the new Mexican restaurant, Rosa Mexicana for lunch. Success. All three kidlets enjoyed it... We all shared guacamole made before our eyes at the table. Bailee loved it but Oscar wouldn't try and Maple hated it... she has never enjoyed avocado like the twins did as babies. I remember one of their daily meals being mashed avocado and banana! Not for Maple. So she spent the whole guacamole experience rotating the corn chips to check none of that nasty green stuff was tainting them! Oscar and Bailee got to try on a Mexican hat too... bonus.

They also had chicken schnitzel, veges and sweet potato chips. Dessert was strawberry sorbet :-) As for the adults we enjoyed tacos and fajitas.

The Dubai Mall trip ended in tears and tantrums as Oscar found a 'Rubbish Truck' he thought he "should have", "daddy should buy", "he needed" and he "didn't already have." Despite the uncharacteristically-to-Dubai affordable price tag, we stuck to our guns for principles sake. Unsurprisingly, Oscar was very tired and fell asleep in the car before we even started the car!
