Battersea Power Station. Not a pig in sight.

Taken on today's long run - from Finsbury Square to Twickenham, along the Thanes Path. Turned out to be 31 km, which was just about what I was aiming for in terms of distance.

The South Bank was horrendously mobbed. I had forgotten that the London Dungeon has moved to what used to be County Hall. It was nearly as busy as when I was crushed in there on a student demo many, many years ago.

The section from Vauxhall to Wandsworth is pretty soulless - block after block of so-called luxury flats. Things improved at Wandsworth Park, where the daffodils are already flowering. Reaching Putney felt like home, although it was still a long way.

It was an interesting thing to do, but it did make me appreciate the train!!
