My new train set xxx

Mike got Eva up again this morning, and brought her straight into our bed for her milk. It's so lovely when she's having her milk and Daddy is also in the bed. She'll have a little drink, then sit up to check Daddy is still there, have another little drink, then sit up to check he's still there and so on. Mike then got her washed and dressed and gave her breakfast, while I had yet another lovely, relaxing shower. :-)

When Mike went off to junior hockey training, Eva and I played with her toys in the lounge and watched telly. By about 11.30am, Eva was shattered. She kept lying down with her head resting on my leg and rubbing her eyes. She hadn't had a great night sleep, to be fair, so I wasn't surprised she was so tired. She was fast asleep within no time and had a good 2 hours.

This afternoon, Aunty Liza, Lorna and Granddad Hopkins came round to see us. We had a lovely catch up altogether. Eva loves to see her family and was just so lush this afternoon with everybody. Aunty Liza and Lorna spent a good couple of hours playing with Eva with her new train set and reading her book after book, she loves her books.

Throughout the afternoon, I'd been in and out of the kitchen preparing our Sunday roast dinner. Today I'd had a shoulder of lamb slow cooking since 10 o' clock this morning, and came into the lounge with it all ready to serve to show everyone, oh my gosh it was divine. Liza, Lorna, Mike and Eva all had a piece off the plate to try and Eva loved hers. She had even more on her actual dinner, aswell as roast potato, carrots, cabbage, broccoli and peas and sweetcorn, she did so well. As she was nearly finished her dinner, Mike started filming her as she was chattering away sat in her highchair, when all of a sudden, she started waving at the telly and very clearly saying "bahh bahh" as she was waving, I can't believe Mike caught it on film, such good timing.
