My new ball pit xxx

Mike got Eva up, washed and dressed this morning, then brought her through to me still in bed for her morning Mommy milk and cuddles, then took her downstairs for breakfast, while I had a lovely leisurely shower.

We then spent the morning all together, as Mike didn't have to be at hockey til lunchtime. It was lovely. We got Eva's ball pit out that she'd had for her birthday from Uncle John and Aunty Laura, and she absolutely loved it. She was sat in it with both of her Upsy Daisys, 1 in each hand, and kicking her little legs in and out moving the balls around with a big smile on her face. She also very quickly figured out how to crawl out of it. It didn't matter that she can't walk yet to climb out, she just crawled right on over the side and hauled herself out, and then back in again lol. At one point, after she'd climbed out, but left her Upsy Daisys still inside the ball pit, she leaned across the side, grabbed the smaller Upsy Daisy, but needed that hand free to then be able to get the other Upsy Daisy, I couldn't believe my eyes when she put the one she'd already got into her mouth, which freed up that hand so that she could lean across and get the other one. Such good thinking. :-)

Nanny Nash is over from Spain at the moment, and came over to see us later this afternoon with Chris, who went up to see Jake, who was playing on his Xbox. Eva was a little unsure at first, but soon was all smiles and bouncing away for her Nanny. Pauline bought her a gorgeous, summery little sailor dress for her birthday, she will look a proper little cutie pie wearing it. It was lovely to see her and for her to see Eva. With them living in Spain, this was the first time since last year that Eva had seen her Nanny Nash. It wasn't long before Eva was blowing Nanny kisses and waving at her. Mike dropped Pauline, Chris and Jake (who was staying there the night) off at Aunty Vikki's just as I was taking Eva up for her bath. She'd already been waving, but as the front door closed, and it was just her and me, she very clearly, in her little, very cute voice said "bahh bahh". She has been saying "Mom Mom Mom" and "Da Da Da" for a while, but you never actually know if she knows what they mean, so tonight's 'bye bye' was just wonderful. Xxxxxx
