Aurora Glow at Hopewell

Two nights running! We didn't ever see any distinct shafts of aurora light, but the orange glow was certainly there and grew in intensity, with shadings of purple and some green on either side! Exciting stuff :) This image is early on the event, when the orange/yellow glow hadn't yet spread across the sky and into the Milky Way. I just love the range of colour here.

I've only just managed to see the first Aurora pic from last night, here on Blipfoto.com. Thank you so much everyone for all the comments and stars and hearts! The response really blew me away. Apparently Blip has put it up on Facebook too - amazing.
