Elm Hill, Norwich, England

If you haven't been to Norwich it is worth the trip. Just too far from London for an easy commute, so the city has not been swamped with dormitory housing.

Elm Hill was the area where the wealthy lived from at least 400 years ago. But when Norwich's famous weaving industry declined in Victorian times, Elm Hill became a slum before being renovated in the 1930s.
