Brugge Market Square

Day 2
After a lazy morning, we caught the tram, train and bus to Brugge. (The tram and bus tickets are interchangeable for the day and very cheap, so it allowed more sampling of Belgian beer!)

We visited the new exhibition - 'Historium' an excellent story in the Medieval city setting and with sets, cinematography effects and audio sets.
This panorama was taken from a viewing veranda outside the second floor, were we could see all across the square - well worth the visit!

We didn't go up the tower (in the panorama) this time as we have done it twice before (and it is exhausting - zillions of stairs).
We also went into a few (chocolate) shops and had some excellent pancakes!
