Down to the beach...

Day 3
It was windy and blowy and there was not much sun - but it didn't rain - so we went walking today!
From 'home' to the beach was through a woods with huge areas of snowdrops - which I nearly used as a blip and over the coast road and tram route, up over the sand dunes. We had a great walk all along the beach which was pretty deserted, into the town of De Haan (about 2 miles) The most famous thing that has happened there is that Einstein stayed there when he first left Germany (I'm not sure of the exact dates but before Hitler could get hold of him anyway).
Most things were shut but there were chips to be had! we caught the tram back.
