Surprise view

Decided on an early morning bike ride. The initial plan was to do a circular ride into Rosedale but ominous clouds looming up on the moor caused a revision of the route.

This view is one I have passed numerous times without really appreciating its qualities. Today just happened to glance over the dry stone wall. I had never realised there was a pond nestled in the valley.

Thomas arrived home to play rugby for Malton 2nd XV today to aid recovery after his hernia operation. Hot on his heals was Matthew who needed to see a physio with an on going knee problem. Then Stephen who was competing in the British University Championships for Cambridge announced he would head home too! So we now have a full house.
