A different birthday surprise

Today was spent practising rescues, navigating through impenetrable woods and discussing deer pooh.
It was also my birthday.
If I take out the obvious exceptions of having the day with those I love, it was a pretty excellent way to spend the day. As usual on these days I feel a little wiser, just not a little older.
I started my first ever Blip by saying that many of my pictures would involve those moments where you look up and there it is - today, head in the map, eyes on the ground, I paused looked around, and there through the trees...
