Window Display with a difference

Mum and I went to Chichester today - the first time for a while. This display caught my eye in a well known large fashion retailer in East Street. I have never seen anything quite like this to advertise jeans before!

Those who know me well know that I love jeans and especially those that are bootcut or flares! I have lost count of how many pairs I have, but they certainly fill one end of my wardrobe! There are some skinny jeans in there as well. I have had an interest in costume, fashion and clothing for a long time. The remarkable thing about jeans is their longevity in fashion, and although there have been some periods when their popularity has waned slightly, they remain in wear almost completely globally. With all the turmoil reported on the news in Kiev, there were still people walking about in Skinny jeans! They have come a long way since Jacob Davis and Levi Strauss first made them in 1873. Appropriately enough with Levi's being mentioned, the pair I wore today was a favourite pair of Levis (my only ones of this make actually) which are also flares!
