Bronze Statue, Rams Walk, Petersfield

Having had our lunch at the nursery at Trotton, we went on to Petersfield again for another look round. The weather turned out better than expected as it was somewhat gloomy and drizzly on the way but very windy.

This bronze statue can be seen in the short pedestrianised shopping area before The Square is reached. The quality of the artwork is excellent and apart from the name of where it is, it is very apt as the South Downs have been home to many shepherds and their flocks over the centuries.
