Ilam

Having played golf in gorgeous sunshine but a cold wind this morning I got home and we decided on a nice stroll this afternoon to one of our favourite spots.

Ilam (eye-lamb) nestles beside the River Manifold in Peak District it is set against the green backdrop of Bunster Hill and Thorpe Cloud. The church in the foreground is Church of the Holy Cross

Unfortunately after lunch the cloud came over and the light was never good. A nice stroll never the less and a quick stop in Ashbourne and bought a couple of shirts just before the shops closed, all in all a good day.
