herons nesting

a very dull and windy day today, so a bit of shopping at out of town centre where you even queue to get out !! (I don't do queues)

Then went looking for a bit of fresh air and see what birds were around Ogston Reservoir. Stumbled on a site where at least 20 herons are nesting. The light was poor but watching them bring in well chosen sticks was a delight. I will be back for sure :))
