Golden carpet

Another pleasant day so Soloh and I went for a walk along the River Nairn again. At the moment it is becoming our favourite local walk. It certainly has a lot to offer. It was difficult to decide which was my favourite shot but this carpet of aconites was at its best and certainly gives the feeling of spring with the natural world awakening. Nearby there was a red squirrel playing in the trees and this ran a close second.
