Cleaning

"Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me." Psalm 51:10

Here is a picture of a cleaning spray and cloth. We have got some guests coming to lunch tomorrow, so we have done some cleaning and tidying today so that our house is presentable!! Although, we it wasn't too bad, so it only took a couple of hours to get in order.

The Bible verse is from one of the psalms of David. He has written some good psalms. This one is quite a commonly used one. The psalm is about God washing away all our sin, and creating in us a pure heart. You know that heaviness you get when you have done something wrong, that feeling of guilt. God can take all this from us if we are sorry for what we have done. This is why He sent His son Jesus to die for us, to take on all of our sins so that we can be pure in heart. This is an amazing thing to do for us and is beyond my comprehension. Tomorrow at church we are going to have communion in the evening and this is always a thought provoking thing to do, but one Jesus told us to do to remember what he had done for us...
