Icecave Indignation
I was supposed to go see the ice caves that formed on Lake Michigan north of Leland today; a natural phenomenon that is a 'once-in-a-lifetime' occurrence.
Alas, wind gusts of 40 miles per hour yesterday broke up the ice around the caves which have shifted and there is now open water near the caves. Many warnings have gone out hoping to prevent people from venturing out to see the caves.
I listened to the warnings but I can't help feeling indignant
that I didn't get to experience the ice caves! So, here's my 'alternative to the ice caves' photo of some icicles.
