Mynydd Troed
A lot of heavy cloud but otherwise quite bright and windy.
I try and take this photo at around 8 am every morning to keep some consistency.
The 'flow' of cloud is invariable from right to left being driven from the west or south west.
The mountain creates more cloud as the warm and cold thermals meet so to get the mountain with no cloud will need some good weather and maybe less or no wind.
Mynydd Troed is Welsh for 'Foot Mountain' of which this photo is the heel of the foot the main part of the foot runs down behind the heel out of shot towards the town of Crickhowel with the villages of Cwmdu and Tretower to the left and a smaller mountain, Llangorse mountain to the right.
To the left of Mynnydd Troed are the rest of the range of the Black Mountains and further to the right are the Brecon Beacons.
