Cross country skiing again.

We had a fantastic day and did an 18 km long tour in beautiful sun.
I quite like this sport yet I hate the total lack of control on the way downhill. As the melting tracks started to freeze in the afternoon skiing got really difficult. Going down was horrible as I kept going faster and faster and there was no way I could slow down or stop. I knew I would fall sooner or later. I am sure I will feel every muscle tomorrow. Yet it was good to go skiing today as most of the snow in Schwarzwald will probably be gone in the next few days.
Milena has set out for her school ski camp today - hope she will have fun and won't feel homesick.
