White Carpet

I was proud of showing our garden snowdrops yesterday, but found a real standard for comparison in the University Parks this afternoon!

These snowdrop beds extended all along the northern boundary of the Parks. The trees under which the sheets of snowdrops were growing were at the "top" of this map (the line of trees parallel to Norham Gardens).

Elsewhere, there were lovely displays of crocuses of an amazing range of colours. Surprisingly, quite a good number of daffodils are already blooming, as seen here with some crocuses in the foreground.
