Gering-ding-ding-ding-dingeringeding!
It was a beautiful, sunny day and I was up and out of the house before breakfast, just to make the most of it. As it was, the trains were rubbish so we ended up going into central London where we didn't catch much of the sun because of the high-rises. However, we popped into Two Temple Place to see the Discoveries exhibition - an eclectic mix of wonderful items from science and art: a dodo skeleton, a 1970s Open University microscope, a collection of snow goggle, an ancient statue of Hermes...
We walked through Covent Garden, Soho and Regents Park, then meandered along the canal to Camden where we headed north to catch the train home at Kentish Town. A good long walk with a few discoveries on the way. These doorbells were found near Marylebone.
Happy birthday to my Dad!
Gering-ding-ding-ding-dingeringeding! (I'm still in disbelief about this song being so popular - hilarious.)
