Flowing stream
Today was a very productive day of purging. I went through my closets and dresser full of clothes and made two bags to donate to a charity. I am tired of having no room and my closet being stuffed with things I never wear. I plan on doing a lot more organizing and cleaning out of closets in the next couple of weeks.
After getting my organizing done, we took a ride over to the park where it seemed that everyone else had the same idea to get out. It was packed with people and there was very little available parking. The sun was out, the temperatures had warmed up and everyone needed some fresh air. There were dog walkers, joggers and children on bicycles. I even saw a couple in the picnic area having a picnic. I have not seen this much activity in the park since the beginning of fall. It has been a horrible, long and cold winter and I think most people have spring on their mind and wanted to make the most of a nice day.
I walked through the snow and mud over to where there is a small stream separating two areas of the park. The light was very nice and I liked the look of the running water with the snow on either side of the stream. Just a week ago, this was all buried under snow and ice. It was great to see things coming back to life.
